Webster and VetSource partner

Webster Veterinary announced a strategic partnership with VetSource that includes an equity investment giving Webster significant minority ownership in the business. Webster provides services, supplies, equipment and technology to the veterinary market. VetSource operates as an online pharmacy and growing platform for pharmaceutical services and home delivery of pet care products. “This exciting partnership leverages the technology solutions and services of both Webster and VetSource to meet the most critical needs of veterinary practices in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace,” Webster President George Henriques said. “Our shared commitment to driving value to veterinary practices through innovative technology and services makes this partnership an ideal scenario for practitioners. Midmark appoints two field clinical specialists for veterinary dental markets

Midmark Corporation announced the appointment of Danielle Heberle and David A. Rekart, II as field clinical specialists for the company’s veterinary dental products. In their new roles, Heberle and Rekart will be driving dental sales for Midmark by supporting veterinary field sales representatives; conducting field and distributor training and marketing support; organizing dental wet lab strategies; and building relationships with dealers and veterinary dental professionals. In addition, they will be responsible for providing clinical consultation to veterinary hospitals on dental radiology, high speed delivery systems and general dentistry. Heberle has extensive experience as a veterinary product sales representative, specializing in veterinary dentistry and participating in numerous dental wet labs. Rekart has more than 10 years of experience as an ER/critical care veterinary technician as well as experience as an equipment specialist for a veterinary supply company.

Merial 5th Annual Agent Sales Achievement Trip

Merial National Accounts Team was happy to host 72 Sales Agent Representatives and Management with spouses or guests to the Dreams Resort and Spa in Cabo San Lucas, MX April 28 – May 2. The representatives from the companies earned their way onto the all expenses paid trip by partnering with their Merial representative counterparts to ensure exceptional sales results in 2009. Representatives must have exceeded overall sales goals as well as up to 5 separate product categories including Frontline, Heartgard, Previcox, Recombitek and PurevaxVaccines and Equine Products.
