IDEXX Telemedicine services available on VetConnect® online
IDEXX Telemedicine services are now available on vetconnect.com, offering veterinarians greater speed and efficiency when submitting cases and reviewing reports online for telemedicine consults. This simplifies the process of getting a second opinion from IDEXX board-certified specialists and reduces the amount of time and steps previously required for electronic submissions. Telemedicine consult requests can now be prepared and submitted easily prior to seeing a patient, eliminating the need to provide patient history, practice details or requested services during the patient examination. This new service also provides real-time access to case results, so doctors can check the status of their consults anywhere, anytime, and download results at their convenience.
Once registered at vetconnect.com, veterinarians and technicians can submit ECGs, radiographs, ultrasounds and other diagnostic information for IDEXX Telemedicine consults with greater speed and accuracy than previous submission methods. The VetConnect submission tool remembers practice and patient information from an initial request – users won’t have to retype this data for each case, and there is no file-size limit when transmitting images.
